IT Forum for the partners of the Upper Povolzhje region, which was held September 28th-30th, 2006 in the country club and hotel Diveevskaya Sloboda - is the third such an event for the regional dealers of Trinity Electronics, one of the Russian market's leading distributors of computer components. The IT industry's top manufacturers, such as BenQ, ALPS, Fujitsu and COLORSit sponsored for the forum. More than 40 executives and top managers of the 25 leading companies from Nizhniy Novgorod, Ryazan, Vladimir, Kirov, Cheboksary, Saratov and Ivanovo attended.

Already a good tradition of Trinity Electronics' forums - the conference program was interesting and rich. Participants could educate themselves and find out about the newest tendencies in the IT industry, ask vendor representatives their questions, talk over the partnership with Trinity Electronics managers during the informative presentations, personal meetings and round-table meetings. Our vendor presentations became the culmination of the forum. Stephan Wirkner, Manager of Sales&Marketing from ALPS, familiarized the attendees with the component business - the business that ALPS have been a world leader in for the past decades. Mr Wirkner also outlined the partnership terms of ALPS and Trinity Electronics. Walech Mehmani, Fujitsu Sales manager in EMEA, read an extremely informative presentation about Fujitsu HDDs of various form-factors, with the special highlight on the high- performance SAS drives. BenQ Manager for the Partner Business, Nikolay Ryashentsev presented some interesting details about company strategies, the newest monitor lines and explained the realization of the second level partner support. Irina Bocharova, the alternate Head of the COLORSit Russian headquarters told the participants about the company, its ideas and goals as well as the brand new cases from COLORSit.

The Upper Povolzhje's main features are the fast development of the region, its location close to Moscow, the fast penetration of all the mainstream novelties and tendencies of the IT industry. The business and manufacturing sector in very strong in the region. However, many manufacturing firms are using the obsolete equipment thus being a good prospect for the development of the corporate system integration in the region. During the communication at the IT forum the representatives of Trinity Electronics came to terms with the top-management of the region's leading companies, starting the mutually beneficial cooperation and the support of the regional retail business and the regional system integrators.

IT Forum 2006 for the Upper Povolzhje allowed the Trinity Electronics team to communicate closely with the leaders of the regional IT business, get them acquainted with the novelties of the IT industry and educate them about the ongoing and the future dealer support programs. Such an event allowed outlining the needs of the region and determining the line of development for Trinity Electronics business in the region.
